What information is needed to add a Dataset?

At a minimum you need a title for the Dataset, the name and affiliation of the author(s) or data collectors, subject and a description about the data. If you have more information about your data, you can fill in other metadata fields. Also, you can upload documentation files and code files to accompany your data files. (This is not obligatory). The more relevant information you provide, the more findable your dataset will be. 
After saving your first draft of a dataset, you will have the possibility to add even more metadata. Click on the ‘Edit metadata’ button to adjust or add metadata.
